Today is World Mental Health Day
This year has been a tough one for us all. The months of lockdown and loss have had a huge impact on our mental health.
Mental health has got worse for over 60% of adults and over two thirds of young people (68%) since lockdown. Many have developed new mental health problems as a result of the pandemic and, for some existing mental health conditions have got worse.
This year join us in campaigning for more resources, services & support for mental health. There are many free resources available from many credible websites, I will post below. Many of my members have noted a reduction in stress but an increase in anxiety. Do you understand the difference? Do you appreciate how important self care is with regards to your mental health? If you have found your mental health deteriorate & losing the strength to come out of the pit, the valley, the darkness - reach out. Let a professional hold you, weather be traditional talking therapies, medication, alternative therapies. Don’t stay down, let others lift you, remember to fill your cup. We are in this together.
On the main Facebook Page I have added links of websites full of helpful information, tips for yourself, for a friend or family member who needs the support. Share & help build awareness on mental health.
I have attached the Anxiety Webinar I recorded simply comment below or send me a private message if you find it useful.
Finally what one thing will you do today which is good for your mental health?
